In the 23 Sep 1760 Colotlan baptism of Matheo (second from bottom right at https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-F9S3-KX?cc=1874591&wc=3J4B… ), his birth is placed at Hazcata.
I cannot find any such place. Does anyone else know about Hazcata?

I agree that it is Tlazcala.
"Hazcata" by Colotlan
Giving it just a quick look, the first thing it comes to my mind is "tlazcala" the "H" kind of resembles the "tl" in the word Colotlan at the beginning of the record, and what it looks like a "t" could also be a "l" at the last syllable. Thus maybe a town of that name within Colotlan? Just a thought on other possibles spellings.
