Response to Linda
Linda: I'm researching my husband's grandmother's family, the Gomez, Anguiano, Lopez, Robalcava and Soto families from Paso de Sotos (now known as Villa Hidalgo)and Teocaltiche, Jalisco and Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.
Response to Linda
pnp,
Sorry, I don't have your name, only your email address,
We may have ancestors in common, the Lopez and Rubalcava from Villa Hidalgo
and Teocaltiche.

Teocaltiche and Calvillo Families
I like, Alicia, believe we could have certain common ancestors. I would like to compare ancestries along with Alicia, it would be nice to see where we branch off. A part of my mother's ancestry can be traced back to Calvillo and Teocaltiche. I descend from people with the surnames of López, Soto, González de Ruvalcaba, etc.

Daniel: Thanks for responding to my post, as I corresponded to Alicia, my husband, Paul's 2x grandmother was Ma. Timotea Lopez married to Juan Gomez, they lived in Villa Hidalgo. Paul's Soto line comes through his 2x grandmother, Ma. Tranquilina Soto, married to Agustin Anguiano, they also lived in Villa Hidalgo. What I have been able to find is that Ma. Timotea's parents(Antonia Lopez/Christobal Lopez)came from Teocaltiche. I've also traced the family of Ma. Tranquilina to Teocaltiche.

Alicia: Hopefully, I'm responding in the post the right way (?), my husband's name is Paul and my name is Peggy. My husband's 2x grandmother was Ma. Timotea Lopez, married to Juan Gomez. I believe Timotea's parents were Ma. Antonia Lopez and Christobal Lopez. Do any of these names sound familiar to you? As far as I can tell, the Rubalcava family were much earlier. Thanks for responding to my post, Peggy
Alicia
Peggy, my Lopez and Rubalcava ancestors in Teocalitche and Villa Hidalgo
date back to the 1700's, so your husband's grandmother is too recent for
me. After marriage, they migrated to Jalpa and then Nochistlan.
