I just received the Y DNA report for my brother, we do not understand how to read report. doone buy Family Tree DNA
and once I read report how do I share with yor data base?
Your report should include your Y-DNA and/or mtDNA Haplogroup.
For simple interpretation, google "haplogroup" and the one you belong (do separate searches for YDNA and mtDNA) and go to the Wikipedia result you get from the search.
Also you can find matches from your Familytreedna personal page of by sharing your results in one of their groups.

You can upload his results to ysearch.org then you can post his ysearch userid.
Did he join a project? Like Gary Felix's Mexico DNA project? If so which surname?
