After much searching, I have finally found my 4th great grandfather's death registration in the Church records. That is the good news. The bad news is, though I have learned enough Spanish from reading the Baptismos, Defunciones, and matrimonials to fill in the dates, there are still some things I am unable to decipher and I need help.
Would someone please help me read the record for the death of Don Juachin Romero? It is listed in the Mexico, Jalisco, Catholic Church records for 1590-1995. The city isTepatitlan de Morelos, the church is San Francisco de Asis, Defunciones 1780-1800. The image is 162 of 511. It is number 1622 on the page. Maybe you can get there by clicking on this: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-18572-64339-29?cc=1874591&wc…
The writing is clear, the abbreviations maddening, and I don't understand the references to Cuadrillero and Tambardillo. I believe they mean police and a type of medicine but I can't figure out the context.
If someone will take a peek and let me know what it actually says, I will be most grateful.
Thank you for your help.

Defuncion Juachin Romero
Hi Linda, I believe this is what it says:
Tabardillo is typhus, I think.

Thank you. I saw that it was the 22nd of January, 1785, but didn't know what preceded his name. It looks like a better than average funeral paid for by his wife Maria Antonia Gomez. If you are correct in your assumption, it looks like he died of typhus at home. Sad, because his last child was born 8 months later.
As for the word "cuadrillero", I don't know where I came up with that. I must have combined two words while trying to use a translator.
Thank you, again. I appreciate your help. Now, if I only knew how to find where he came from...
