Can someone please help me out? I used to be able to isolate and print specific entries from any page on Familysearch.
Since the new format, I'm now unable to even print a full page, much less a specific entry. What am I doing wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Printing
I have found that after you enlarge an area of the document that you are
looking at, you can print just that area by using the print function icon
that shows up on the application tool bar. This works for me with
FamilySearch. If I try and print the same area by clicking on Control-P,
the entire page will print, rather than the area I want. Hope this helps.

Alice,
You have to save the whole image (meaning both pages of the book in the image) then use the "crop" function on the print function in your computer. It used to be so easy, now it takes more steps.

Hi Emilie,
I'm afraid I'm going to have to have someone more computer savvy look into this. At this time, when I try to print the whole image, I wind up with 3 pages. One page has site text and the other two print only the upper half of each page. One image number provides viewing of both pages of the church book. Do I have to zoom out each page to fill the screen, first before printing? Thanks so much, Alice

Hi Alice,
No don't try to print the whole image. What I meant was that when you are looking at the image that has the entry you want to print, right click on the image and save it as a .jpg file. It will save both pages of the book on the image. Then go into your computer where your saved photos end up, open the saved photo and use the printing application on your computer. They all have a "crop" option. You open the photo and use the menu at the top to get to the options to crop the photo to the section of the image you want.
I wasn't able to use the "paint" function of my Windows Picture Viewer, but the Microsoft Office Picture Manager has a crop function that is easy for me to use---when I open the photo, at the top is a menu and I click on "picture", and it brings up a drop down menu and one of the choices is 'crop'. I click on that and then it shows the whole image with brackets on every corner. Move the brackets to enclose the entry you want to print, then click on "print". Later it will ask if you want to save the cropped image. I don't save it after I print it.
Hope this helps,
Emilie
