No he podido encontrar informacion anterior.
Gracias
Jaime

Hi Bill:
Lines #3 and #4 of your message to Jaime sent me looking through my
database...
I don't have Diego Alonso de Hermosillo , Married to Juana Alderete, as
being the son of Diego Alonso del Pedroso y Hermosillo. I do believe your
source, it just struck me kind of funny that he had a brother named Diego
Alonso Ramirez de Hermosillo.
I do have a Diego Alonso Ramirez de Hermosillo, married to Luisa Muñoz de
Nava, as a son of Diego Alonso del Pedroso y Hermosillo
For siblings of Diego Alonso Ramirez de Hermosillo I have the following:
Capt. Agustin Garcia de Hermosillo
Matias Gonzalez
Maria de Hermosillo
Isabel Ramirez
Paula Torres
Nicolas Ramirez.
I guess now I can add: Diego Alonso de Hermosillo to the list.
Any comments?
Gracias.

Hi John,
The information was provided by Jaime Holcombe about 15 years ago. According
to his information, the Diego Alonso de Hermosillo who married Luisa Muñoz
de Nava on 23 Feb 1645 is the same Diego Alonso Gonzalez de Hermosillo who
married Juana de Alderete on 19 Feb 1669. I have it as a second marriage,
but would like to confirm it by looking at the actual records. Perhaps
someone in the group has the microfilm on permanent loan and could check for
this for us. The film number is LDS film No. is 0639754 Marriages 1637-1669
Teocaltiche, Jal. México. Hopefully someone has already researched this
family.

Saludos,
Bill Figueroa

Hi Miguel:
We appreciate your help in trying to help us solve this "mystery" :
We need to know if Diego Ramirez de Hermosillo, married to Luisa Muñoz de
Nava y Gonzalez de Ruvalcaba, is the same person listed as:
Diego Alonso de Hermosillo, married to Juana Alderete. If it is, is this
his second marriage? it look like it could be.
Where did you find Jaime Holcombe's research data? It sounds like you have
almost all of it!
Thank you.

Diego Alonso de Hermosillo
Hello John, I have Diego Alonso b-abt 1628 Married to Luisa Muños de Nava b-abt 1628 is Son of Diego Alonso Ramirez del Pedrozo b-abt 1598 and Paula Torres b-abt 1602. Diego Alonso Ramires de Hermosillo b-abt 1646 m-Juana Alderete is son of Diego & Luisa. his brothers and sisters are Catarina,1648 Cap Juan1649,Francisco 1651,Gertrudis, de nava 1653,Andres Muñoz de Hermosillo 1655, Melchor (Cap) muñoz de Hermosillo 1658.
re why or how I have these copies. I found it less expensive to pay 25 cents per page -2 family sheets per page than the time wasted traveling back forth to LA family research library finding one at a time and getting into the printer searching again. I found that once I started inputing the info into my family tree, they were related. I still have about 20% not input into my tree. Lack of time. I can still find it if you locate the the source# and batch and page.

Hi Miggy:
Thank you for the information on Diego Alonso de Hermosillo. I didn't have
any of his siblings for Diego Alonso Ramirez de Hermosillo
I see where Borderlands Bookstore has two volumes of Jaime Holcombe's
research. I am just wondering how extensive was his coverage of the Los
Altos area. I get the impression that most of his research was concentrated
in the "North".

Hello,
I know I'm a few years late on this thread, but I recently established our parentesco with the Diego Alonso/Alfonso/Yldephonzo line, and I think it a good idea to connect the threads. The thread can be found here, with links to the IMs and records: http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/21940

John,
The information provided by Miggy Gutierrez appears to be correct. It fits
the timeline better, although there is no solid documentation. We can be
sure if someone checks LDS Film 0639754 Marriages 1637-1669 Teocaltiche,
Jal. Mexico for both marriages, Diego Alonso Ramirez de Hermosillo to Luisa
Muñoz de Nava on 23 Feb 1645 and Diego Alonso de Hermosillo (their son) to
Juana de Alderete y Padilla on 19 Feb 1669, both at Parroquia de Ntra. Sra.
de los Dolores, Teocaltiche. Hopefully the parents are mentioned in the
records.
