Hi there Josie ,
I did a quick serch in www.familysearch.org and found 58 Liendos in Coahuila ..... 22 in Tamaulipas ..... 10 in Jalisco , also note that I found 0 in Zacatecas and 0 in Aguascaliente .
This does'nt mean that there aren't any in those states , like I said it was a quick search . If you want enter into the site clik on the International Genealogical Index , then clik on region ( Mexico ) clik on the state ( whichever you prefer ) .
Now , go to where it says First Name and put an asterisk * and where it says Last Name , put Liendo . Hope this helps alittle .

"Padrsn de poblacisn de Aguascalientes", compiled in 1792 by Fel
Hi Welester!
Thanks for the info! Believe me, I have checked everything I can think of
on this elusive couple and I now believe I will have to just look at all the
film for that time period in Zacatecas. I just need to make the time to do
this! :-) Last year I was in Salt Lake City at the FHC and had them help
me.....no results~! I even found the name "LIENDO" spelled as "SIENDO" and
found that some of the records I already had researched were listed as
"SIENDO" because the transcribers misread the "L" for an "S" and made the
name "SIENDO"......which is not a name. I will probably find them where I
least expect .......I just wish they would quit hiding from me! :-)

Hi Emilie!
Thanks for the info......I have already researched all these that you and
Welester Alvarado mention and they are all AFTER the late 1600s to early
1700s time period that I am looking for. Most of these in Coahuila are the
offspring of my elusive ancestor.......Juan Antonio Liendo who was born in
Zacatecas most probably in the late 1600s to the very early 1700s. He is the
one that keeps hiding from me......but I won't give up! :-)
