I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm Raymundo Muñoz from Brownsville, Texas. I've been researching (since COVID lockdown) about my fathers paternal side of the family since i know very little from about them and am wanting to know more since that's the last name I carry.
A few things that I know about my grandfather is that he originated in Teocaltiche, Jalisco and then moved to Matamoros area (supposedly fleeing Jalisco for beating up the son of his boss) where he married my grandmother and then immigrated to Huntsville, Texas. If you can see the attachment, it is confirmed (by my father) that his Pablo Muñoz and Virginia de Anda Quesada. If anyone can help confirm that if I am in the right path and lastly if anyone has any information on Jose Maria Muñoz and his spouse Pascuala Gutierrez.

The closest that I am related is through the Reynoso. Maria del Carmen Reynoso is a descendant of Sebastian Reynoso Renteria and Francisca Ramirez de Hermosillo who I also descend from.
Lee Ingram has the correct parents for Esteban Muñoz. The evidence is in the baptismal records of Pablo Muñoz and Virginia De Anda’s children.
Esteban’s parents are Trinidad Munoz (Jose George de la Trinidad Munoz de Lopez Nava) and Teodocia Losa.
Esteban and Celerina (Selerina, Enedina) Ramirez are parents of Pablo Munoz that was baptized 7 March 1880 in San Miguel el Alto. He was listed as born in Derramadero (Jalisco). https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-GPW7-Q?cc=1874591

You also list Esteban as the son of Francisco Munoz and Hipolita Guerra. Unless there were two Esteban's within the same family, I do not believe Francisco Munoz Gutierrez and Hipolita Guerra were Esteban's parents.
However there is a Esteban Munoz (Lopez Nava) that married Celerina Ramirez on 10 Feb 1879 in San Miguel el Alto. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-GTXP-J?cc=1874591
Esteban was listed as from Saucillo (Jalisco). I believe Celerina was from Derramadero (Jalisco). I noticed Enedina was listed in some records of their children as Celerina/Selerina instead of Enedina. The particular Esteban listed his parents as Trinidad Munoz (Full name Jose George de la Trinidad Munoz de Lopez Nava) and Teodocia Losa.

Trinidad was the son of Joseph Maria Antonio Munoz and Maria del Carmen Reynoso.
I am not sure this is your family, but might be worth you investigating.

Hello, finally got around to looking into it. I think you are correct. The discrepancy that I found is like you said. I have found 3 different names for Enedina, Celerina, and Senorina. I have also seen 2 different spellings for Esteban vs Estevan.
I have also found little to no information regarding my paternal grandparent Salvador Muñoz whose parents were Pablo Muñoz and Virginia Anda.
I only found 1 baptism record of my aunt (still living so won’t name her) in Teocaltiche, Jalisco that names my grandfather Salvador Muñoz. Her parents (my grandparents) Salvador Muñoz and Alicia Castilleja.

Maria Pasquala Gutierrez is the daughter of Eleuterio Gutierrez and Maria de San Jose Hurtado. She is baptized on 23/May/1819 buried on 25/June/1857. Her husband Jose Maria Muñoz is listed as still living.
