If I'm correct - I don't have my research with me and I haven't heard back from Angie yet but this would not be far fetched because Angie and I already established years ago that our lines cross - but if I'm right then you and I are related. I believe Leopoldo's mother Nicolaza was my great grandmother Bernarda Vazquez' sister. If I'm right, our great great grandmothers were sisters and we'd be 3rd cousins. I've moved recently but I'm going to try to see if I can find any of my "non-paper" research in my emails to back up my theory. These things I know for sure 1) Angie and I have ancestors in common, 2) either my great grandmother Bernarda or my great grandfather (her husband) had a sister named Nicolaza and 3) my great grandmother was Bernarda Vazquez b. abt 1874. I'd like to hear from you and compare info.

Thanks for the welcome and information... I did find my great-grandfather's (Leopoldo Correa, b.1898) birthday earlier, but thank you for finding brothers and sisters from my Correa & Uribe families. I had no idea there were so many instances of my great-great-grandparents' names! I'm glad that now I'm able to get my grandmother's opinion on the names shown (Which would be her uncles/aunts!)...
I'm a little stumped at how to obtain certain films and view the original writing... Are they downloadable through the internet or do they come by mail? Maybe you can explain a bit about the procedure? Thanks so much! (Hopefully we'll find a link!).

Interesting...
I'm excited to find out! Do you have any idea, off the top of your head, where Bernarda was born? (I'm under the impression they're all from Zac.) Also, I'd like to see her parent's names, as that would possibly be the farthest back I've been thus far(!) I'm not sure what we need to know to make certain, but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
One thing I thought was interesting was her name spelled Nicolaza Vasquez (or Varquez in the entires, which must be a typo), which I always imagined to be Nicolasa with an 's'. Of course, in those days there probably weren't strong standards (?) not that its too important right now!
So Bernarda is your great or great-great grandmother?, you listed both =)
