Help! I would like to delete the gedcom I previously submitted and submit
an updated one, and can't figure out how to do that. And I am trying to
figure out how to easily weed out living people from the submission. My
tree is on a paf file. It seems whatever I try, the gedcom includes
branches of living relatives. I did find a program on-line that is suppose
to help clean-it-up, but it seems that it leaves "name withheld" as
placemarkers. Would that be ok? It does mean that I have to put at least
year-of-birth for all my distant relatives, as that's what this program uses
to differentiate what data stays and what doesn't. It may take a few days
to come up with all of those. Is there an easier way?
While I'm at it, is there a way to make an ancestry file that automatically
includes the siblings of each ancestor, ideally with spouses and pertinent
dates noted, or do I need to do that on my own?
Thanks!
