Attention Primo Bill Figueroa-Diego Flores de LaTorre ?
Hola Ronnie. No te culpo por estar confundido. It took me a while to
figure out all the connections. What you have is correct, except that
you're missing two earlier generations. Diego Flores de la Torre married to
Beatriz de Anda Altamirano y Castañeda was the third Encomendero de
Juchipila. His parents were his namesake Diego Flores de la Torre and Doña
Angela de Velasco. This Diego was the second Encomendero de Juchipila. His
father Hernán Flores, Conquistador de la Nueva Galicia, married to Doña
María Alvarez de la Torre, was the first Encomendero. This was his second
marriage. His first wife was Isabel de Alvarado, daughter of Gómez de
Alvarado and niece of the Adelantado de Guatemala Capt. Pedro de Alvarado.
As far as I know, there were no children from his first marriage.
Take care, primo.

Attention Primo Bill Figueroa-Diego Flores de LaTorre ?
Hola Ronnie and Bill,
I have all the Diego's as well. It is confusing! Hernan Flores' parents were Catalina Flores and Pedro De Fuentes. I have dozens of the Flores De L a Torre tree. Does anyone have Diego Flores De La Torre y Arias' ( 1629-?) descendants. I would like to compare names from this huge tree with you, Bill and Ronnie. I am sure it connects to my gg-gfather, Trinidad Flores, de Juchipila. He might have been born around the 1830's.
Gracias,
Charles Flores
BTW- guess what my only son's first name happens to be??
Attention Primo Bill

Attention Prima Sofia
Hola Primo,
Estoy bien, gracias.
What I know about Lucia and Diego is that Diego was the son of Diego de Padilla Davila and Ana de la Mota y Vera.
Lucia was born about 1650 and she married Diego in 1668 Jalostotitlan, having one daughter, Ana de Padilla Davila y Flores de la Torre. She was born in 1670. She married Matias opez y Sanchez.
After Jalostotitlan, Lucia and a small Ana moved to Leon, Nueva España.Widow, Lucia married Miguel de Olaez Roldan, probably before 1683.
I'm sorry I made a mistake, Diego Flores de la Torre y Hermosillo married Juana Guerra Gallardo. Juana Maria Flores de la Torre y Guerra was there daughter, who was born in Lagos at the end of 1694. She was married to Santiago Fernandez de San Salvador.
more children:
Ines, born around 1696 married to Jose de San Roman Serrano y Landeros.
Saludos,
Sofia

FLORES DE LA TORRE
Hola Charles,
My guess is that your son's first name is also Diego...right? Flores de la
Torre is not my line although I have information on members that married my
relatives.
y Salado 4 Oct 1654 at Parroquia de la Asunción in Aguascalientes. He was
the son of Hernán Flores de la Torre and Ana Alvarez de Sandi. His paternal
grandparents were Diego Flores de la Torre and Angela de Velasco. Have you
It includes lots of genealogy and family history for the Flores de la Torre
surname (pages 329-360). It begins as follows:
linaje paterno...etc. etc."
