I guess I got curious if this surname might be related to the Tremino de
Valasco's that Esther Harold mentioned. Is the Tremino name centered in
a particular area. My Josefa was from Fresnillo.
thanks,
joseph

Temino or Tremino
Joseph,
Esther Harold misspelled the surname Temiño de Velasco. The record you have
definitely says Tremiño with an "R", first on the left margin of the
document and second on the document itself. Married were Justo Rufino
Puente and María Josefa Gregoria Sánchez Tremiño. Close, but not equal.
There is also a Treviño surname, but this is neither Temiño nor Treviño.
I've NOT seen Tremiño in Aguascalientes, so it may be unique to Zacatecas
and the Real y Minas de Sombrerete.

Thanks Bill I appreciate your take on this record. I haven't exhausted
all possibilities but this my GGGG grandparents draws me close to the
end since he is from Zacatecas, Zacatecas and in a time period that the
baptism records are missing. I'm ordering the confirmation records and
eventually the Informacion Matrimonial records for the dates before 1749
in case Justo was first born and his parents Antonio and Anna were
married in Zacatecas, Zacatecas. I found Justo in an 1817 census record
in another location saying basically he was born in 1749 (that is if his
age is anywhere close to being accurate on the census record which is of
course subject to error).
thanks again,
joseph
