How do you sign on? I can't seem to get past the form to be filled
out. It doesn't like my address or phone number nor my
identification. What should I be putting there?

Linda,
I received the registration instructions from Ed Elizondo who is charge of the Cuba Genweb. Some years ago, there was a posting on the net through Genweb (I thought it was Cuba) that had the instructions. Ed has posted the new instructions at his site and here it is:

Researching
Hello Everyone,
my name is Marty and I am researching for my ancestry in the vicinity of the city/town of Fresillo in Zacatecas, Mexico... I am very intrested in the Sur-names of:
Arroyo
Villasana
Hernandez
Huizar
If anyone has any of these Sur-names in their ancestry I would like to hear from you.
Marty
Researching
Hi Marty,
I am also researching Fresnillo. I am looking for my grandfather Luis Zavala who was born there.
I found a baptism I thought was him but I can't be positive it is him. I am trying to find his marriage
records in Durango. His wife Vicenta Zamora was born in Mapimi, Durango about 1875 supossedly and my grandmother Maria Zavala was born around Lerdo/Torreon about 1897. I haven't been successful
finding their records.

Researching Huizar
Hey Marty,
Welcome to the group. I am researching Huizar also.
Except that my Huizar family are from Colotlan and
Totatiche in Jalisco. It's not that far from
Fresnillo, I think...
Do you have any specific names? I can look them up
and see if I have any relatives with those names.
Take a look at my files if you are interested.
