If any of you ever go to downtown Ciudad of Zacatecas? And you pass through the hotel, "Meson Del Jobito?" There are two large paintings of the Second Conde and his wife of the Hacienda of San Mateo on the wall near the receiptionist. We have seen it when my woman and me took a short cut through the block by passing through the hotel. When I saw those paintings, I told my woman who they are.

We've stayed there and it's absolutely beautiful. In colonial times it was
a hotel for people and their horses, you could stable your horse and stay
in the upper room.

Thanks for replying Alicia and glad that you found Zacatecas Centro beautiful colonial style. I have stayed in the house of my woman's mom's house since they are one of the dowtown people. Before I met my woman, who is from dowtown city of Zacatecas, I would stay mostly in our village of Huejuquilla 2 - 3 hours away in the rural highlands near Hacienda San Mateo (50KM away from Hacienda San Mateo). I ventured out and met my woman in the City of Zacatecas. Probably felt what the Conde felt like to travel the same route to the City of Zacatecas.
In downtown City of Zacatecas, we usually take a short cut through the City Block by crossing through Meson Del Jobito since it is pretty big with alleys. You come out the other side of the block. I love it! The colonial style
