A couple of days ago, I was unable to print just the selected item on the page and sent Family Search an emai. Following is the reply I received today:
Dear Judith Marentes,
Thank you for contacting Family Search regarding the new format for printing documents in historical records available at familysearch.org. We appreciate your frustration and would like to inform you that we expect this issue to be resolved in the next update to FamilySearch.org which should be in about a month’s time.
In the meantime, we have attached a link to a document titled “How do I resize or enhance an image from Historical Records” that will provide you with an alternate way of selecting only the information you want to save. To view the document in full, please click anywhere on the blue underlined title.
We appreciate your patience as our engineers continue to work on the enhancements to the FamilySearch website.
Sincerely,
FamilySearch

FOLLOWING IS THEIR TEMPORARY FIX:
How do I resize or enhance an image from Historical Records
Symptoms (Problems)
Can I enhance or resize the image before I save it?
Is there a way to edit, crop, or resize an image?
Can I adjust the image to make it smaller or larger before I print it?
Answer (Resolution)
There is currently no mechanism within the Image Viewer to accomplish these advanced functions. Edits must be done in your personal image editing program after the image has been saved and open on your own computer.
If the image is too large or too small or if it needs additional enhancements before printing or storing:
When viewing the image in Historical Records, click the Save icon, and save it to your computer.
Then open the file in an image editing program that allows you to edit, resize, and enhance the image.
The edited graphic can then be saved or printed.
I HAD ALREADY FIGURED THIS OUT - HOWEVER - YOU HAVE TO COPY THE WHOLE TWO PAGES OF DOCUMENTS. SINCE I HAVE ALWAYS ZOOMED-IN TO JUST THE SECTION I WANT BEFORE COPYING, NOW THE QUALITY AFTER YOU SAVE, THEN COPY, AND THEN ENLARGE ONLY THAT SECTION YOU WANT, THE QUALITY IS NOT AS GOOD, BUT IT'S OKAY IF ONLY FOR A MONTH!
