Hello,
I am conducting research for my Granillo-Perez lines from New Mexico, and Valle de Allende, Chihuahua. I have been researching the Granillo-Perez line who I think originated in Sonora. I was given a microfilm marriage record for Simon Perez-Granillo who seems to be a Captain in the military. I tried reading the record but am unfamiliar with the abbreviations done by the notaries.
What I am hoping is that this marriage record for Simon Perez-Granillo is a record of a second marriage for him. This record is from San Bartolome Valle de Allende in 1684. There are several names that appear including Marquez, Davila, Chavez. I can make out that he is a Capitan who has a "Mandato", some type of military order. Also San Joan de la Concepcion is a town mentioned as well.
Thanks if you can help me out. My husband put the PDF files (3) into an application that darkened the print so that it is easily readable.
Sincerely, Yolanda
