Rick,
Is the dispensa included in the book "Sagrada Mitra" by Luz
Montejano-Hilton? Can you give me the item and page number to look it up, or
email me a scan if you already have one?

Joseph was named as the son of Juan aguilar solorzano and luiza de araisa y
medina in a dispensa.
how I found Jose Aguilar Solorzano
He was not named in the dispensa but from the dispensa I figured out that the mother of micaela aguilar solorzano (wife of a saines de santiago)was surnamed ysazi. From there I used the family search program to search for the husband of antonia Ysazi which led me to the marriage certificate of antonia Ysazi married to jose aguilar solorzano which gave the parents of the bride and groom
I was actually lucky. I had mistakenly speculated that micaela aguilar solorzano was a ruiz de esparz because jose saines is listed as having a 2nd wife by the name of micaela ruiz de esparsa by jaime holcombe and I was checking to see if he had made a mistake, I had been going over all dispensations that had ruiz de esparz and aguilar solorzano in them to see if they were possibly the same person. My investigation proved him correct that they were two distinct individuals. And my investigations uncovered the parents of Micaela Aguilar Solorzano. Later on I will continue to research if the 2 micaelas were related. I stopped looking for micaela ruiz de esparzas parents when I found my ancestors, the parents of micaela aguilar solorzano.

Juan Aguilar Solorzano
Hello Bill,
I was wondering whether you had more information on juan Agiuilar Solorzano, father of juan Aguilar Solorzano who is married to Luisa de Araiza Medina. I think you were the one that told me that the Aguilar Solorzanos came over from Colima. There are many Juan Aguilar Solorzanos, all from the same family, in Colima. I have gathered some information on this Aguilar Solorzano family and am hoping to find another piece to the puzzle. There are two connections to the Flores family and a connection to the Pantoja family that I have been studying.
Thanks, Rick A Ricci
Joseph Aguilar Solorzano y Araiza
Dear Bill Figueroa,
Here is Joseph Aguilar Solorzano's marriage record:
Name Joseph De Aguilar Solorzano
Spouse's Name Antonia De Ysazi
Event Date 25 May 1681
Event Place Santa Maria De Los Lagos,Lagos De Moreno,Jalisco,Mexico
Father's Name Juan De Aguilar Solorsano
Mother's Name Luisa De Araiza
Spouse's Father's Name Nicolas Martin Del Campo
Spouse's Mother's Name Sebastiana De Yzasi
CITING THIS RECORD
"México matrimonios, 1570-1950," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JCXN-5R6 : 15 July 2015), Juan De Aguilar Solorsano in entry for Joseph De Aguilar Solorzano and Antonia De Ysazi, 25 May 1681; citing Santa Maria De Los Lagos,Lagos De Moreno,Jalisco,Mexico, reference ; FHL microfilm 221,512.
Do you still have Juan Aguilar Solorzano's father as another Juan? There is conflicting information posted as to his father. I have been collecting much information on this family. I am looking for a primary source that clearly states the name of his father since some other genealogists insist the our Juan Aguilar Solorzano is a son of Francisco de Aguilar Solorzano and Anna Ruiz de Galindo Escobar, and that Francisco is the son of Geronimo Matheo de Aguilar and Constanza de Castillejas
Francisco and Anna are also Parents of Gaspar Aguilar Solorzano, alcalde mayor de la villa de Colima married to Bernarda Siorda ( from the family of an ancestor of mine surnamed Rodriguez Ponce)
Thanks,
R.A.Ricci

Joseph,
I am researching early records of Aguascalientes beginning around 1600. One
prominent family that lived in the city (which was only a village at the
time) had the compounded surname Araisa y Medina. Please pass it on to the
applicant to Nuestros Ranchos in case he/she is interested.
