My Apologies: Forgot to change Subject from Digest
Por makas_nc | 11:47 PM MST, Jue Julio 20, 2006
Sorry folks I've been sending out private emails to various ones trying
to get the Digest people to change the subject heading from Digest to
properly reflect the content of the email and here I've done the same
thing.
Today, one of my best friends from college... which was more than ten years ago for me tracked me down. She Googled me, which is probably a pretty common occurance these days but she immediately asked me what sort of genealogy research I was doing. It seems that when someone Googles me they get the podcast that I did for Joseph and his podcast series when I was in Mexico last year.
Joseph... thank you for bringing all of us together and thank you for your work. I think we can forgive your minor transgression.
P.S. Is there anyone who would like a photo-quality poster size print of a map of Zacatecas from the mid-1800s from Antonio Garcia Cuba's Atlas geografico, estadistico e historico de la Republica Mexicana?
I would if it's still available. Marge:)

I only have one map, which I would be willing to give away but since I have gotten multiple requests, I offer to do the following: Anyone wanting a map, please let me know by next Wednesday. I will then take the image back down to the photo shop and get some more printed. I believe the last batch was in the range of $25-$30 for a 16x20 matte phot paper print.
You can see the map on the David Rumsey Map Collection by searching under Mexico and paging through until you get to the series of maps by Garcia Cubas.
Thanks but I'll pass this time. Marge:)

Please! I would love to have a copy of the map you mentioned. Let me know
if I am not too late in contacting you. If not tell me how I can get it and
how much you are charging for it.

If it's not too late, I would also like to purchase a map and know that if it is still possible you will let me know the cost including Shipping and handling charges. With great appreciation.

I am interested in a map. How much are they? My Grandparents were from
Pánuco.
