I am trying to trace my de la Torre's in and around Guadalajara and
Tepatitlan de Morelos. What I know is Jose de la Torre and Elena
Romero had at least four children: Sofia (b. ca. 1881), Adolfo,
Leopold, and Beatriz. I have photos of Beatriz and Adolfo. Sofia de
la Torre married Castulo Romero around 1900/1904 and had four
children: Rosendo, b. 1904; Salvador, b . 1906; Ramon, b. 1907; and
Elena, b. 1910. Is there any trace of this de la Torre family in
your records? Rosendo, Ramon, and Elena immigrated to the U.S. in
the early 1920's.

Tepatitlan Batch Numbers: DATA entry Volunteer Needed
I don't have time but if there is a volunteer in the group to do some
data entry I just looked up quite a few of the Tepatitlan de Morelos
batch numbers. They should be of help to anyone doing research in this
area of Jalisco. I've entered one of the films so you'll have a starting
place. Let me or Arturo know if you need any help in how to upload
films/batch numbers to the films area of the group. Here are the batch
numbers I found today. . .there might be more to enter later if anyone
wants to search for those gaps:

Jerez and de la Torre
As Marge has requested, I have uploaded various Jerez files that include specific baptisms, marriages, and communications in various years and centuries. I placed them in the research file sections. You can browse these files fairly easily since they are mostly alphabetical. Good luck. Unfortunately, I have no relatives from Jerez.
Happy 4th of July.

Research File Section
Hey Ed,
Where is the Research File Section?
When I go into the file section, all I see is:
- Member Genealogy Files
- Reference Material
- Books and Articles
I can't find the files you posted.
Thanks,
Angie Godina
