"New File Update" Notifications?

I think it is a very common occurence that families in Northern Mexico, New Mexico, Texas and California were originally from the Zacatecas area. Since Zacatecas and San Luis Potosi were the first "frontiers" in Mexico, many of the families that then moved to the second frontiers came from the area. I know that Mazapil and Sombrerete in particular were big transient stations for such families.
