Another sad point of prejudice. I was researching the Canales line in McLennan
CoTX. I found a funeral home book and thought "O Boy, O Joy". There was not
one Spanish surname listed. Then I found a section for Mexican. The names were
listed as Mexican woman age 30, Mexican girl age 6, etc. No names. This was as
late as 1950. Still looking for Silas Canales, Elena Longoria, Queen Flores.
From Sombrerete Zacatecas - love ya all!! bc
