I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this: I searched the pilot program and found my grandma, Maria del Carmen Ornelas, b 28 Nov 1900, Jesus, Guadalajara, Jalisco. Her father, Doroteo Ornelas and mother, Rosa Cortez. The film #1106706 and batch # is C01861-3. The record is only for view at this time.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get a copy of her birth record? Or maybe it is only in extraction format and not ready for realease? I could order the film but it takes forever.
Doroteo Ornelas came from Guanajuato and Rosa Cortez de Leon from Santa Cruz de Astilleros. I cannot find Santa Cruz de Astilleros by Guadalajara. Could it have changed names later? If any one can help me I would be most greatful.

Eduardo, you are right, I did some extractions many years ago and I do remember not taking all the information from the record. I will order the film, at least I know the film number now. Thank you for all your efforts. ---Esther Jordan (Lopez)
I recommend that you look at the origianal record. The piolt site does have
information about what is on the record. However, it is often incomplete.
The original image often has additional information that was never
extracted. Often the extractors ommited information about the parents or
grandparents depending on the training that they received at the time or the
focus of the particualar project. Always go to the original when and if
possible. I have often found this to be the case.

Thank you, Eduardo, that is what I need.

Let me clarify, I will get you a digital copy of the record from the
microfilm. If that is not what you want then you might need to persue a
different avenue. Don't worry about money, I am glad to help when I can.

Record of my Grandma, Maria del Carmen Ornelas
Tendrían aproximadamente, unos cincuenta a setenta años.

Eduardo,
Thank you, yes will you get me that record. I would be forever grateful! I will send you a check
also if you give me your address.
The reason I know this is my grandma is because I got this information from her before she
passed away. I do have a copy of her marriage record to verify her parents but I am hoping that
maybe her grandparents might be listed in her birth record.
