well you are so so fortunate that this is your great grandfather and
great grandmother (I assume unless this is another marriage). This gives
you the location and hopefully the marriage record will tell you where
he and she originally were from. Hopefully the record will give the
names of their parents. Hopefully the continued to live in Panuco and
some of their children were born and raised in Panuco. That film you are
waiting for is the key to a great start of your genealogy search. Now
that you have the basis to make your start you need to gear up to dig in
and search that film. Make sure you make copies of that record and write
down the film number, volume number (on the film) and page and record
number if they are available. Everything you find on your family you
need to carefully write down your sources so someone else looking at the
record can easily duplicate your research. . .which is what people 5
generations from now will be doing and be very thankful to you for
making that part of the research easy for them.
Also if you want to get daring and make the assumption that your great
grandparent started their family in Panuco why don't you try ordering
this film to see if you might not find some of their children on it:

Esther asked some good questions. You should start your genealogy by
listing everything (give all the details) everything you know. siblings,
parents, aunts, uncles, their children, grandparents, their sibliings,
all the info you know about all these people. all the documents
everything. get it all together and try to get as much of the story
together that is readily available.

Introduction
Sally, I believe we are related in every branch, in fact I found a piece of
my puzzle on the murillo side, how much do you know about this branch, my
grandma tells me they were indigenous? Juliana Murillo daughter of Jose Antonio
Murillo is my ggg grandmother. I would really appreciate your help.

Introduction
Leticia,
How wonderful to find another prima, among the others I have found over the years that I have be doing my research.
The Murillo is not my direct line, but I do this information Marriage for Antonio Gonzales and Juliana Murillo 27 Apr 1854 Juanchorrey, Zac. Her parents were Antonio Murillo and Maria Guadalupe De La Torre m.30 May 1835 Juanchorrey,
Zac. Her grandparents Domingo Luciano Murillo and Maria Jacinta Zuniga m. 1 Feb 1793 Jerez, Zac. The informational marriage for Domingo has his mother as Dominga Murillo and father unknown. Juliana's marriage states there was a dispensa in the 4th
grado. I looked for it in Guadalajara and never found it. I did figure how Juliana and Antonio were related. Do you need that information?
In the marriage of Juliana and Antonio it doesn't say if they were indio or espanols or what ever they may have been. I believe by the 1800's they were no longer doing that.
Now in her grandfather Domingo's marriage it does say he was indio and Jacinta was
a mulata. Now I don't know how much this is true because in Jacinta's parents marriage her father is espanol and her mother is coyota. Yet in Jacinta's mother's death record she's espanola. So who knows?????
If you every need copies from any of this information or any other I will be glad to share it with you.
Your New Prima
Sally

Introduction
My name is Corrine Ardoin. I am researching my mother's side of the family.
She was born in Jalisco and her mother's family all came from there, though
I know some of her ancestors definitely have their origins in Spain. I am
primarily researching the surname Martin Del Campo. They came to
Guadalajara from Tepatitlan, Tepahillare, San Juan de los Lagos, and Altos
de Jalisco. My grandmother's father, Alberto Martin Del Campo, was born in
San Juan de los Lagos. His parents were Ismael Martin Del Campo and Rita
Robles Rivera. He married Francisca Cabral Gonzalez, whose parents were
Benigno Cabral and Pioquinta Gonzalez Figueroa.
