Hi All . . . The good news and the bad news. . . the struggle for
inclusion goes on. The good news: the _Smithsonian_ will hold a 3-day
symposium on the subject of our contributions back to colonial times.
The bad news: Burns is doing a presentaion and book signing at the
_National Archives_ on September 11th and speaking to the_ Press Club
_on September 19th.
I have a big apology to make to some of your friends. I lost a whole
page of _August requests_ to be added, deleted, or with an email
address change. If your friends and associates comment to you, please
suggest that they contact me again. Thank you.
May you enjoy your Hispanic Heritage Month activities. Let me suggest
that you look at the Table of Contents before going to the issue. It
was difficult to decide where to put some of the information. You will
find the issue packed with resources.
Warm regards, MImi
